Privacy Notice
Aligned with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
Purpose limitation
We collect and process your personal data solely for recruitment purposes — assessing your application, communicating with you, and (with your consent) considering you for future roles.
Data minimisation
We only collect information relevant to evaluating your suitability for the role you apply to.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and you may withdraw your application or consent at any time via your candidate dashboard or by contacting careers@myhistrong.com.
Retention
Unsuccessful applications are retained for a configurable period (default 12 months) and withdrawn applications for 6 months, after which data is anonymised or deleted. Talent-pool data is retained according to your consent expiry.
Security
Documents are stored privately and accessed via short-lived signed links. Access is role-restricted and logged.
AI-assisted screening
We use AI to help structure your information and provide an initial assessment. AI does not make final hiring decisions, and we do not evaluate protected characteristics.
