Sales Designer

Responsibilities

Consult clients to understand their space, budget, lifestyle and project requirements.
Conduct site visits, measurements and initial feasibility assessments.
Prepare space planning, mood boards, material proposals and design presentations.
Develop quotations and coordinate pricing with suppliers, contractors and internal teams.
Present design proposals clearly and guide clients through design decisions.
Follow up leads and manage the full sales process from enquiry to confirmation.
Achieve monthly sales, proposal and conversion targets.
Recommend suitable HISTRONG products, sustainable materials and interior solutions.
Coordinate design handover to the project team after project confirmation.
Maintain accurate client, quotation and project records in the company system.
Support variation orders, upselling and repeat customer opportunities.
Build long-term relationships with homeowners, business owners and industry partners.

Required qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related discipline.
At least 1–2 years of interior design, renovation, cabinetry or sales experience.
Able to communicate design ideas clearly to non-technical clients.
Commercially aware and comfortable discussing budgets and closing projects.
Able to conduct site measurements and understand basic construction requirements.
Good spoken and written Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Able to work independently and manage multiple client enquiries.
Possess own transport and willing to travel within Klang Valley.

Preferred qualifications

Proven record of converting design proposals into confirmed projects.
Experience in residential, commercial, retail or office interior projects.
Strong portfolio showing space planning and completed projects.
Experience with cabinetry, wall panels, ceiling systems or sustainable materials.
Mandarin & English communication capability.
Knowledge of AI-assisted design, presentation or productivity tools.
Existing network of property agents, contractors or homeowners.
