Project Manager

Take ownership of interior fit-out projects from confirmed order to final handover. Lead site teams, control cost and programme, solve problems early and deliver work that meets HISTRONG’s quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage interior fit-out projects from mobilisation to completion
  • Prepare project programmes, site schedules and resource plans
  • Coordinate clients, designers, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and installers
  • Review drawings, scope, specifications and site requirements before commencement
  • Conduct site meetings, inspections and progress reviews
  • Monitor workmanship, quality, safety, cost and programme performance
  • Track material orders, fabrication, deliveries and installation readiness
  • Identify risks, delays and scope conflicts early and implement corrective action
  • Manage variation orders, site instructions and supporting documentation
  • Verify subcontractor progress claims and completed work
  • Maintain daily or weekly site reports, progress photos and project records
  • Coordinate testing, defect rectification and final handover
  • Control project costs and protect the approved project margin
  • Ensure the site follows safety requirements and company procedures
  • Provide timely project-status updates through the company PMS
  • Conduct post-project reviews and capture lessons learned

Required qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering or related discipline
  • At least 4–6 years of interior fit-out, renovation or construction experience
  • At least 2 years managing projects or site teams independently
  • Strong knowledge of interior construction sequences and coordination
  • Able to interpret architectural, interior, M&E and shop drawings
  • Good understanding of cost control, variation orders and subcontractor coordination
  • Able to prepare and manage project schedules
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership and client-management skills
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel between project sites
  • Able to work outside standard hours when project requirements demand

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in residential, commercial, retail or office fit-out projects
  • CIDB registration or relevant safety certification
  • Experience with cabinetry, wall panels, ceilings and customised interior works
  • Knowledge of project costing and basic quantity surveying
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent sites
  • Familiarity with cloud-based project management systems
  • Strong track record of on-time project completion and defect control
