Cabinet & Wall Panel Installer
Join HISTRONG’s installation team and deliver precise, high-quality cabinetry, wall panels and interior finishing works across residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Install cabinets, wardrobes, feature walls, wall panels and interior fittings
- Read technical drawings, dimensions and installation instructions
- Verify site measurements and installation readiness before work begins
- Assemble, position, level and secure cabinets and panels accurately
- Carry out cutting, adjustment, edge finishing and minor rectification works
- Install hinges, runners, handles, trims and relevant hardware
- Coordinate with project managers, designers and site supervisors
- Protect completed works and minimise damage to surrounding finishes
- Identify site discrepancies and report them before proceeding
- Maintain tools, equipment and installation materials
- Follow site safety rules and company installation standards
- Complete installation checklists and photographic records
- Attend defect rectification and final-touch-up works
- Maintain professional conduct at occupied homes and client premises
Required qualifications
- At least 2 years of cabinet, carpentry, wall-panel or interior installation experience
- Able to use installation tools safely and independently
- Able to read basic drawings and measurements
- Good workmanship and attention to alignment, joints and finishing
- Physically fit and able to perform site installation work
- Willing to travel to project sites within Klang Valley
- Willing to work overtime when installation schedules require
- Valid driving licence
Preferred qualifications
- Experience installing modular cabinets, wardrobes or kitchen systems
- Experience with PVC, WPC, timber, laminate or decorative wall panels
- Ability to troubleshoot uneven walls, floors and site discrepancies
- Basic electrical or lighting installation knowledge
- Own transport
- CIDB Green Card
- Ability to supervise helpers or junior installers
